Got something to share? Upload it to the MSP website!

One of the objectives of this website is to create an interactive space for discussion and dialogue on alternatives to the privatization of municipal services. An important component of this dialogue is contributions from website users from their own research, struggles and experiences.

To add a resource to the MSP website please read our Policy of Use and fill out the appropriate form below.

Policy of Use

The MSP website seeks to do more than disseminate information; it strives to be a platform for the exchange of resources between academics, activists, policy makers and others in order to build a conversation on progressive alternatives to privatization. As such, we encourage visitors to the website to share resources (publications, documentaries, research projects) that correspond to the objectives of the project.

Broadly, we are looking for resources that explore alternatives to the privatization and commercialization of water, electricity and health services. We ask that participants save critiques of privatization for other venues. What makes this website unique is that it is dedicated strictly to a discussion of alternatives.

Uploaded resources can be about a particular case study or experience, or about a particular region or service. Resources can be academic or popular, and can in written or multimedia format (video/audio/photo).

Material that does not fit the scope of the project will be removed, as will any material deemed inappropriate, inaccurate and/or hateful in any way. Members who do not abide by these principles will be warned and asked to remove their post. If problems persist, individuals may be removed from the MSP online community following warnings. We reserve the right to delete any uploaded content without notification or explanation.

You must first be registered as a member of the MSP website before you can upload a resource. This helps to ensure that resources being added to the site are from those involved in and interested in these debates and conversations. Make sure you have relevant information about the resource (author, publisher, date, etc) before uploading it.

Copyright

Before uploading a resource to the MSP website please ensure that you have permission from the authors and/or publishers if you are not the author or publisher of the material. If you have been given permission but are not the author, we ask that you keep the resource in its original format and do not alter it in any way.
