The event organized by the Public Services International Research Unit (PSIRU) will be preceded by a roundtable entitled “What future for England’s water services?”. The roundtable aims to encourage a debate as, 25 years after privatisation, England’s privatised water operators are facing rising water poverty and increasing questions over their role, while no clear policy has emerged on these issues.
Speakers will include Emanuele Lobina, PSIRU, Eamon O'Hearn, GMB, Richard Whittell, Corporate Watch, Cat Hobbs, We Own it.
Initial remarks by speakers will be followed by a Q&A and lunch.
