Abstract:
On Nov. 28-29, 2012 the Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (JSA) convention on “Universalisation of Health Care for All” brought together over 200 delegates from different parts of India, representing organisations and movements working in the health sector, trade unions, women’s organisations, movements such as the Right to Food, Access to Medicines and Positive Peoples' Networks. This convention is a first step to build a broad alliance towards a movement for provision of health care services, including essential medicines, for all citizens of the country. The collective demands and vision that emerged from the convention are spelled out in this resolution.
